Terrain difficulty: Moderate - undulating coastline. 5 miles
Ease of navigation: Moderate - even finding the car park can be a challenge!
Animal Dangers: Low - mostly clear of farm animals

This walk can be started from either the Coleton Farm car park or from the car park further east on the other side of the crossroads. Both parking places are hidden down a country lane and accessed from the same crossroads. At the crossroads turn left to park in the same place that this description starts from.
Come out of the car park and turn left to walk back down the lane you have driven in on. Go straight over at the crossroads and down past Coleton Farm. Follow a footpath that leads along a track at the end of the lane. Head sharply downhill and cross a stream. Then keeping to the left of the farm buildings head uphill on the farm track.
At a junction of paths turn left onto the South West Coast Path. Follow this well signed path along this beautiful coastline which is so carefully managed by the National Trust. As you make your way along the path you can enjoy views of the many coves such as Newfoundland Cove and Pudcombe Cove.
After 1.5 miles ignore a path to your left and remain on the coast path. Round Scabbacombe Head and before Scabbacombe Sands turn left on a path upto the lane with the car park on. Turn right into the car park to complete your walk!
