Terrain difficulty: Easy- well signposted coastal path
Ease of navigation: Easy- circular walk along cliff path & lanes
Animal Dangers: Low- watch out for fellow tourists!!
This walk is a companion to our article on camping holidays in Devon and is designed to give you some inspiration should you be staying at the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park. If you are staying there why not take the chance to leave the car on site and walk from your door, or entrance flap if you are camping!
From the Devon Cliffs Holiday Park take the footpath that runs through the site out to the coastal path above Littleham Cove. At this junction turn left and follow the coast path for just over a mile to the outskirts of Budleigh Salterton ignoring a footpath on the left about half a mile from the caravan park.
Turn left onto this footpath at the end of the golf course, if you wish to explore the village of Budleigh Salterton carry straight on here instead. return to this point to continue the walk.
When the footpath reaches the road turn left then left again. Almost immediately take the footpath on the left which takes you back out onto the golf course area. At a crossroads of paths continue straight on to cross a track before heading into a plantation. Follow the footpath through the plantation to come out onto a lane.
Follow this lane into Littleham turning left by the church. Take this road back down to the holiday park ignoring a fork to the right.
