The Golden Hind seen on a South Devon Walk

Route

Park in the main Broadsands car park below the holiday park. Turn left out of the car park and continue along the road as it becomes a track. At the end of the track there is a fork of paths. Ignore the SWCP and take the right hand fork. Follow the path as it runs along the back of some houses and then cuts across a golf course. Take care here for low flying balls. The path comes out onto the road, follow the road past a church on the right.

At the road junction head straight on and then after 100 yards turn left to follow a footpath down a track. Continue to follow the footpath as it heads over some fields to join the South West Coast Path. Turn right and descend the hill into Brixham.

Here you can enjoy the sights of Brixham Marina, perhaps with a visit to the Golden Hind. When you are ready to return retrace your steps back up the hill on the SWCP. At the junction above Churston Cove turn right to continue on the coast path. A pleasant wooded section leads you out above Elberry Cove. Continue on until the path delivers you back round to the car park.
